Save it together. Find it later.

Where it’s used
Four kinds of saving together.
Trips
Four friends, one Lisbon weekend, every café reel in one place instead of four Saved tabs.
Gift lists
A housewarming list the whole family adds to, so nobody buys the same lamp twice.
Households
Recipes for the week, furniture for the flat, the cleaning hack someone swears by.
Group projects
References for a wedding, a class presentation or a brand moodboard, with who added what.
The system
Five rules for saving as a group.
One shared place per plan
Make one place for each thing you’re deciding, and name it after the outcome and a date. “Lisbon, May 9 to 11” tells everyone what belongs there. “Travel stuff” becomes a junk drawer by June.
Keep it out of the group chat. A chat is good for talking and bad for finding anything a week later.
Decide who adds and who looks
The people who will go, pay or cook should be able to add. Everyone else can look. Your mum wants to see the housewarming list. She doesn’t need to add a fourth set of tea towels to it.
Asking everyone to create an account only to look is where most shared lists stall. Pick a tool where looking needs nothing more than a link.
Add it there, not in the chat
The rule is one save per idea, straight into the shared place. If you want to talk about it, mention it in the chat, but the reel itself lives in the collection. That way the collection stays complete and the chat stays a chat.
Set a decide-by date
Collecting is fun. Deciding is the part that slips. Pick a date when adding stops, then cut the pile to a short list of three to five and let people vote in the chat. Two days is plenty for a dinner spot. A week suits a trip or a big gift.
Close it when it’s done
After the trip or the party, tidy up. Keep the collection as a record, turn it view-only, make it private or delete it. An old shared folder still collecting saves a year later helps nobody.
Run it in Savio
The same rules, built in.
Rules 1 and 2
One collection, three roles
Create a collection, share it and pick a role for the invite: Owner, Editor or Viewer. Invite links can expire when you choose or be revoked. View-only links open without an account.
Rule 3
Everyone saves from the app they’re in
In Instagram or TikTok, tap share, open the full share sheet, pick Savio, choose the shared collection and tap Share to Savio. Each person adds Savio to their share sheet once first, and it stays there.
AI tags every save, and search covers titles, creators and tags.
Rule 4
See what’s new before you vote
Every save shows who added it, and “new since you last looked” markers show what arrived since your last visit. Notifications collapse into digests, and you can opt out.
Catch up plays through the saves you haven’t seen yet, one at a time.
Rule 5, closing it out: the Owner can change anyone’s role, transfer ownership to someone else or make the collection private again, any time.
The free plan includes 1 shared collection, 5 personal collections and 50 new saves a month. Savio Pro lifts those limits. Planning a trip? See how to plan a trip from saved reels, or the features page for everything else.
FAQ
Questions about sharing.
Frequently asked questions
Can I share my Instagram or TikTok saved collection with a friend?
Not as a collection you both add to. Saved posts on Instagram and TikTok are private to your account, so you can send single posts but not a shared folder. Savio gives you a shared collection anyone you invite can add to from those apps.
Does everyone need a Savio account?
Only people who add saves. Owners and Editors need an account. A view-only link opens without one, which suits grandparents, clients or the friend who only wants to look.
What are the roles in a shared collection?
Owner, Editor and Viewer. The Owner controls the collection, Editors can add saves, and Viewers can look. The Owner can change anyone’s role, transfer ownership or make the collection private again.
Can I stop an invite link from working?
Yes. Invite links carry a role, can expire when you choose, and can be revoked at any time.
How many shared collections are free?
The free plan includes 1 shared collection, 5 personal collections and 50 new saves a month. Savio Pro lifts those limits.
