Delete your account.
Two ways to do it — in the app, or by email if you don't have it anymore.
You can delete your Savio account and all associated data at any time, whether or not you still have the app installed.
I. Delete individual items — no need to delete your account
You don't have to delete your whole account to remove data. Any saved item, note, tag, or collection can be deleted individually at any time from within the app — swipe or long-press an item and choose Delete, or open a collection's options to delete it. This removes just that item; your account and everything else you've saved stays intact.
II. Delete your whole account, from within the app
- Open Savio and go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account and its data are deleted immediately.
III. Disconnect Instagram only
If you connected an Instagram account and only want to remove that, you can keep the rest of your account.
- In Savio, go to Settings → Instagram and choose Disconnect. The link to your Instagram account is deleted immediately and Savio stops saving your messages.
- You can also remove Savio from Instagram itself under Settings → Apps and websites.
- Posts and reels already saved to your library stay there until you delete them or delete your account.
IV. Don't have the app installed?
Email us at support@rovae.in from the address you used to sign up, with the subject "Delete my Savio account". We'll verify it's you and delete your account within a reasonable period.
V. What gets deleted
- Your account (email, authentication).
- Everything you saved — links, titles, thumbnails, notes, tags.
- Your collections, including any you own that are shared with collaborators.
- Your notification settings and device tokens.
- Your Instagram connection, if you set one up, and the records of Instagram message and media IDs we keep to avoid saving the same post twice.
VI. What may be retained
Backups are purged on a rolling basis rather than instantly, so a copy of deleted data may persist briefly in backup storage before it's cycled out. Aggregated, anonymized analytics that can no longer be tied back to you may be retained. See our Privacy Policy for the full data-retention policy.
