Release notes

What's new.

Every Savio release, newest first — the new features, improvements, and fixes we ship to make saving, organizing, and actually coming back to what you save better. We update Savio regularly on both iOS and Android, and document every meaningful change here so you always know what's new. Each entry is tagged as new, improved, or fixed, and the most recent release is highlighted at the top — update to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play to get everything below.

Latest · v1.5.1

Reset your password, plus a big reliability pass

Reset a forgotten password right in the app — plus a wide reliability sweep: counts always match what's inside, shared collections behave the way you'd expect (including from the share menu), a new way to refresh a stale link, and better-protected data.

  • NewForgot your password? You can now reset it in the app — we email you a 6-digit code, you set a new password, and you're back in.
  • NewRefresh preview: long-press any saved item and tap 'Refresh preview' to re-fetch its title and image if it didn't load the first time.
  • FixedItem, collection, and collaborator counts now always match what's actually inside — on your collections, in the share sheet, and in shared collections.
  • FixedThe share menu now shows your shared (collaborative) collections too — with the right counts — and saving into them works reliably.
  • Fixed'Remove from Collection' no longer deletes an item from your whole library (there's a clearly separate 'Delete from Library'), and items you add to a shared collection now show up reliably.
  • ImprovedReminders feel fresh (the revisit nudge now varies), the notifications screen is cleaner, deleting feels instant, and we tightened how your account data is protected.
v1.5.0

Shared collections live, a smoother and cleaner Savio

Shared collections now stay up to date on their own, and you can manage any collection straight from Home with a swipe. This build also brings a smoother, more consistent feel — a Home that tucks its top bar away as you scroll, a refreshed glass look across menus and sheets, and a tidy 'all caught up' screen when there's nothing new to watch.

  • NewShared collections update live. When a collaborator adds or removes a save, it appears (or disappears) on your screen automatically — no pull-to-refresh needed.
  • NewManage collections right from Home — swipe any collection to Share or Delete it (or Leave, for a shared collection you don't own) without opening it first.
  • NewWhen you're all caught up — nothing new in today's digest — Home now shows a tidy 'all caught up' screen instead of an empty digest.
  • ImprovedA smoother Home: the top bar now glides away as you scroll and springs back when you scroll up, with the scroll hitches gone.
  • ImprovedA cleaner, more consistent look — collection icons, swipe actions, menus, and sheets now share the same polished glass style.
  • FixedSquashed the last cases of repeat notifications, and tidied up the 'Add items' button and the collection swipe buttons.
v1.4.2

No more notification spam, smarter search

We fixed the biggest cause of repeat notifications and capped reminders and daily summaries so they can't pile up. Search is also more forgiving — even short two-letter queries now find the right saves.

  • FixedNotifications no longer arrive multiple times. We now send a single copy per device, even after reinstalling or updating the app.
  • FixedReminder nudges and daily digests are now limited to once a day, so they can't stack up and over-notify you.
  • ImprovedSearch is more forgiving — even two-letter queries now match anywhere in titles, names, captions, and tags, just like search inside a collection.
v1.4.1

More consistency, fewer rough edges

Personal collections gained the add, select, and refresh tools that shared collections already had, the whole app got a more consistent header and glass styling (with a refreshed Activity screen), and we fixed the welcome survey reappearing plus a couple of Android notification glitches.

  • NewAdd saved items straight into a personal collection from the collection screen — the same quick picker shared collections already use.
  • NewManage tags now groups your unused tags and lets you clear them all in one tap.
  • ImprovedPersonal and shared collections now work the same way — multi-select, pull-to-refresh, and the add button behave identically in both.
  • ImprovedA cleaner, more consistent look on every screen — a unified header with a soft blur at the top, and every pop-up sheet now matches the app's glass style.
  • ImprovedThe Activity screen got a fresh look that matches the rest of the app.
  • ImprovedLibrary search is simpler and consistent with collection search — one clear button, no redundant Cancel.
  • FixedThe welcome survey no longer reappears for people who already completed it, and the setup screen now shows correctly for new or empty accounts.
  • FixedOn Android, opening a post from a notification no longer shows a grey bar or an overlapping back button.
v1.4.0

Simpler sharing, smarter search, cleaner look

Sharing a collection is now as easy as adding collaborators on Instagram, with every control in one place. Shared collections gained multi-select, search finds far more across your saves, the whole app got a cleaner and more consistent look, and a handful of rough edges are fixed.

  • ImprovedSharing a collection is simpler — just add collaborators, like on Instagram (everyone you add can edit, no confusing roles), and every sharing control now lives in one place.
  • NewSelect multiple items in a shared collection at once to save them to your library, share them, or remove them — all in one go.
  • ImprovedSearch finds much more — it now looks through titles, captions, your notes, creators, tags, and post details, not just the title, and stays fast as you type.
  • ImprovedA cleaner, more consistent look across the app — the same polished glass buttons and controls everywhere you go.
  • ImprovedThe item screen is cleaner and easier to read, and no longer overlaps the back button on text-only posts.
  • ImprovedManage your notifications faster with one-tap “Mark all as read” and “Clear all”.
  • FixedCreating a new collection no longer shows a blank, hard-to-see name field.
  • FixedGoing back from a screen you opened via a notification or a shared link now reliably returns you home instead of doing nothing.
v1.3.0

A friendlier start & a cleaner everything

Shared and collaboration links now open the app and drop you right into the collection, media previews are fixed (Reddit images + YouTube playback), the welcome tour greets you before sign-in, and there's a fresh coat of polish — plus one-tap notification clearing.

  • NewClear all your notifications in one tap (with an Undo if you change your mind).
  • FixedShared and collaboration links now reliably open the app and take you straight to the collection.
  • FixedMedia previews fixed — Reddit posts now pull in their image, and YouTube videos play inline on the item screen.
  • ImprovedThe welcome tour now plays before you sign in, so you can see what Savio is about from the very first tap.
  • FixedNotifications: opening one and pressing back returns you Home instead of closing the app, pushes show the right app name, and signing out now fully clears the previous account from this device.
  • ImprovedA polish pass across collaboration and settings — the whole button is tappable, cleaner glass styling, smoother toggles, and the library filter only appears once you've saved from more than one source.
v1.2.1

Smoother sharing & sign-in

Polish and reliability fixes — shared and collaboration links now open the app dependably, new accounts are guided through setup correctly, and the item screen got a cleaner look.

  • FixedShared and collaboration links now reliably open the app on Android — and drop you in the right place after you sign in.
  • FixedNew accounts now get the setup guide and intro properly, even on a device a different account used before.
  • ImprovedRefreshed the item details screen — cleaner top buttons and a tidier notes field.
  • ImprovedThe library filter bar now appears only once you've saved from more than one source, so it's not in the way early on.
  • ImprovedPolished the "What's New" screen to match the rest of the app.
v1.2.0

A friendlier first start

New to Savio? There's now a guided welcome that shows you exactly how to save from any app — so your library fills up from day one.

  • NewA guided welcome screen walks new users through saving their first items, with a short video tutorial on adding Savio to your phone's share sheet and a "Try it now" button to practice.
  • NewYour most recent saves now appear right on the welcome screen as you add them, so you can watch your library take shape.
  • FixedThe celebration shown after your very first save no longer fails to appear.
v1.1.1

Reminders, more reliable

Follow-up fixes for the new Reminders feature — they now sync and cancel cleanly across all your devices.

  • FixedReminders set on one device now stay in sync and cancel reliably across your other devices.
  • FixedFixed a rare case where a reminder could be skipped on a device that hadn't finished setting up notifications.
v1.1.0

Reminders that bring you back

Set a reminder on anything you've saved and Savio nudges you to come back to it — synced across your devices, with a tap to snooze when you're not quite ready.

  • NewReminders — tap “Remind me to revisit” on any saved item and get a nudge when it's time. They sync across all your devices.
  • NewSnooze a reminder for later, or let it clear itself once you've opened or watched the item.
  • NewManage them all in Settings → Reminders — swipe to snooze or cancel.
  • ImprovedShare a collection as a view-only link and let others copy it into their own Savio.
  • FixedNotifications now reliably open the exact item you tapped — and play a sound.
v1.0.3

A calmer Daily Digest

The Daily Digest now learns your reading rhythm and arrives when you actually have a moment — plus faster search across your whole library.

  • NewDaily Digest now adapts its delivery time to when you usually read.
  • NewSearch now matches across titles, creators, notes, and AI tags at once.
  • ImprovedCollections load noticeably faster on large libraries.
  • ImprovedSmart reminders are gentler and easier to snooze.
  • FixedFixed thumbnails occasionally not loading for newly saved links.
v1.0.2

Sharper AI tags

Auto-tagging got smarter at understanding what you save, and shared collections are easier to manage.

  • ImprovedAI tags are more accurate for videos, recipes, and products.
  • NewDeactivate or rotate a collection share link anytime from the collection menu.
  • FixedFixed an issue where some saves from Threads lost their preview image.
v1.0.1

Save from anywhere, faster

One-tap saving from the share sheet is quicker, and we expanded the sources Savio understands.

  • NewAdded support for saving from Facebook and general web links.
  • ImprovedThe share-sheet save is faster and confirms with a lighter animation.
  • FixedFixed rare duplicate saves when sharing the same link twice quickly.
